Jason O'Mara Cast on CBS Pilot

He may be done fighting prehistoric creatures and trying to save the future of our planet, but Jason O'Mara isn't finished with the small screen.

This Terra Nova star has signed on for one of the fall season's more intriguing pilots, as Deadline reports he'll appear opposite Michael Chiklis and Dennis Quaid on the untitled CBS drama based on the true tale of Ralph Lamb.

Portrayed by Quaid, Lamb was a rodeo cowboy who became the sheriff of Las Vegas and took it upon himself to bring down mobster Johnny Savino (Chiklis). O’Mara will play Lamb’s younger brother, Frank.

The role is in second position to Terra Nova, however, in case that role does get a second life on another network. Negotiations between 20th Century Fox TV and Netflix are ongoing.
