Fringe Stops Production on Season 5 Due to John Noble Illness
Matt Richenthal at .Fox has been forced to halt production on Fringe Season 5 because star John Noble is battling what sources describe as a sleep disorder.
The actor - who has portrayed scientist Walter Bishop since the start of this drama and who many still cannot believe has never been nominated for an Emmy Award - reportedly aggravated an existing ailment while traveling recently.
As a result, production will not resume on Fringe until at least August 7.
Noble was absent from the show's panel discussion at the Television Critics Association Summer Press Tour Monday, but was present a couple weeks earlier at Comic-Con in San Diego. He then reported for work a few days later before it became too difficult for him.
Here's to a fast and full recovery.
