A couple intriguing characters will soon make their way back to Castle Season 5.

With fans anxiously awaiting the return of this ABC favorite in January, creator Andrew Marlowe spoke to TV Guide and previewed a major storyline to come. It will feature both Michael Dorn's Dr. Burke and Jack Coleman's Senator Bracken, as Kate runs once again into the latter.

"A murder seems to lead to [Bracken's] doorstep and Kate thinks this her opportunity to finally get the man who was responsible for her mother's murder behind bars," Marlowe says, teasing how Beckett may once again lost control. "Nothing is as it seems. The case leads us into really interesting moral territory for our character."

Coleman debuted as the shady politician on the Season 5 premiere, "After the Storm."

This episode, meanwhile, will air at some point during February Sweeps.
