Chris Carmack Joins Cast of Nashville

Looks like all that guitar playing on The OC has finally paid off for Chris Carmack.

Deadline reports that the actor will appear on six episodes of Nashville Season 1, coming on board the ABC drama as Will, an especially charming country singer.

Moreover, Carmack will be promoted to a series regular if the network picks up Nashville for a second season.

Carmack is best known for playing Luke on the aforementioned Fox hit, but has also stopped by episodes of Drop Dead Diva and NCIS over the years.
