Megan Hilty Cast Opposite Sean Hayes on NBC Sitcom

Megan Hilty is sticking around NBC.
The former Smash actress has signed on as a series regular opposite Season 2 co-star Sean Hayes, reports TV Line.
She will appear on Sean Saves the World as Liz, the best friend of Hayes' title character. It's a role originally assigned to Lindsay Sloane, who exited the series not long after it was picked up for the fall.
Sean Saves the World will air Thursdays at 9/8c and focus on Hayes as the father of a teenage girl who just moved in with him. It also featues Linda Lavin, Echo Kellum, Thomas Lennon, Samantha Isler and Vik Sahay.
