Michelle Forbes is set to put out some fires on NBC.
The actress (True Blood, The Killing) has been cast on a multiple-episode arc on Chicago Fire Season 2.
Look for the veteran actress to come on board as Gail McLeod, a high-ranking consultant with the State Fire Marshal's Office. The character is in charge of budgetary issues and performance at the city's firehouses, as she'll have Firehouse 51 very much in her crosshairs.
Chicago Fire Season 2 kicks off on September 24 at 10/9 c. on NBC.
