The Vampire Diaries Season 5 kicks off on Thursday, October 10.
And while fans may be excited for the return of this CW hit, star Paul Wesley told us at Comic-Con that he's especially psyched for all that lies ahead for him in the role of Silas. Why?
Because the writers have listened to him once again and given the actor new, dark material with which to play. As you can see in the Vampire Diaries Season 5 footage that aired during the show's panel discussion in San Diego, Wesley is very much taking this disturbing ball and running with it.
