Two and a Half Men Casting for Lesbian Daughter: New Details
Matt Richenthal at .As previously reported, Two and a Half Men is casting for a new Season 11 character: Charlie Harper's long lost daughter.
She will debut on the September 26th premiere and E! News now has an update on what we should expect from the 21-year old.
She will be named Jenny. She will be "sexy and gorgeous." She will pop up when she relocates from New York to Los Angeles… and she will be a lesbian.
CBS has come under fire from GLAAD for its lack of programming featuring gay characters, while recent racist and homophobic remarks on Big Brother haven't exactly helped the network's image.
The role of Jenny has not yet been cast, but will likely be one of television's more sought after roles. Insiders tell E! that the actress will begin as a recurring player, with an option to be upgraded to series regular.
Angus T. Jones, meanwhile, will be going in the opposite direction. The sitcom's half man is only expected to appear on a handful of Season 11 episodes.
