The Vampire Diaries First Look: Why is The Gang All Here?

A flashback. A desperate new plan. A nasty confrontation.
And a terrifying secret that could threaten the lives of everyone we know and love.
All of these developments and more are teased by The CW in its official synopsis for The Vampire Diaries Season 5 Episode 15, which will be titled "Gone Girl" and which will feature a flashback involving Nadia's centuries-old search for her mother.
The photos below are all based in present day, however, though they do raise a number of questions:
- Why are so many characters gathered together at the Salvatore residence?
- What does Katherine want with Bonnie?
- Wait... is that really Bonnie?!? We haven't seen her in so long.
With The CW also having just released pictures from The Vampire Diaries Season 5 Episode 14, click through a dozen new images from "Gone Girl" now.
TVD finally returns on February 27.
