There will be a new sheriff in town on Sleepy Hollow Season 2.

We mean this literally.

Fox insiders confirm that a replacement is on the way for the long-departed Corbin, as Sheriff Vasquez will recur this fall on the wildly awesome Fox drama.

The new character is described as "smart, forceful, highly trained and commanding." But she also has a "warm and maternal side."

Vasquez is a Sleepy Hollow native who will return home after working for the U.S. Border Patrol in Texas.
