Sleepy Hollow to Add Episodes for Season 2
Matt Richenthal at .Let's hope too much of a good thing does not turn into a bad thing for Sleepy Hollow Season 2.
Fox has confirmed that it will air a minimum of 15 episodes of its breakout drama this fall, an increase of two hours over its Season 1 order.
Producers are even preparing for a potential Season 2 that consists of 18 total episodes, depending on future ratings and other factors.
Producer Mark Goffman has said Season 2 will focus on a war theme, telling Entertainment Weekly that more episodes will not mean less quality.
"Every episode needs to be an adventure, and something mind blowing has to happen to our characters, with major revelations that move the story forward," Goffman says. "We still approach it with that in mind. The more episodes you do, the harder that becomes, but I feel we are still at level where we can maintain that pace."
On the casting side, Timothy Busfield will recur this fall as Benjamin Franklin, while a new sheriff will come to town to take the place of the long-departed Corbin.
