President Heller authorized Jack's release to find Margot and stop her terror plot on 24: Live Another Day Season 1 Episode 6 and Kate Morgan was assigned to his team.

But things went horribly wrong when Kate got tortured and almost killed as MI-5 interfered in the plan.

Margot sends Simone to kill Navid's sister and niece who may know too much. Simone kills the sister but the niece gets away and in the chase, Simone gets hit by a bus.

Elsewhere Navarro takes a phone call from his handler. He's a double agent and he set up Kate's husband to take the fall.
