FX has provided us with our first tidbit of Justified Season 6 news.

Per a network press release, veteran actors Sam Elliott and Garret Dillahunt will both play key roles on the final season of this hit drama.

Elliott will come on board as Markham, a famous Kentucky gangster who returns from exile with a private army and gobs of cash on hand, earned via legal marijuana growing in Colorado).

Look for this character to set his romantic sights on winning back Katherine Hale (Mary Steenburgen). He'll also find himself clashing with Raylan and Boyd ... and even with Katherine as well, who believes that Markham is the man who brought down her husband.

Dillahunt will play Walker, a special ops veteran who has spent years deployed in combat zones; first as a soldier and then as a private contractor.  

He now handles security for a semi-legal businessman and masks his simmering anger behind an exterior of cold professionalism... until Raylan and Boyd wear away this veneer and bring the monster to the surface.

Justified Season 5 concluded with Raylan successfully turning Ava against Boyd, setting up a showdown between lifelong friends and enemies on the show's final season.

Look for the series to return in early 2015 and go watch Justified online if you need a refresher.
