MTV delivered good news and bad news to Awkward Fanatics today:

The series has been renewed for a fifth season...

... it will then say goodbye forever.

The network has confirmed that Season 5 will mark the final run of episodes for this comedic drama.

Awkward Season 4 is about halfway through with its run, airing on Tuesdays at 10/9c on MTV. Showrunners Mike Chessler and Chris Alberghini have said that it will conclude with the Palos Hills High gang’s Spring Break.
