TV Ratings Report: NBC Rises, CBS Falls

NBC awoke to solid numbers for its Monday night lineup today, as The Voice garnered 12.1 million viewers and a strong 3.6 rating among 18-49-year olds.

The Blacklist, meanwhile, nabbed 9.8 million and a 2.6, up 5 and 8 percent, respectively, from the prior week's numbers.

Elsewhere around the dial...

  • The 2 Broke Girls Season 4 premiere was up about 2 million viewers overall from its May finale, though down from its 2013 opener; while The Millers fell to a series low and Scorpion and NCIS: Los Angeles also dropped a bit.
  • On Fox, Gotham Season 1 Episode 6 (5.8 million/2.2) decreased by 5 percent and a tenth, while Sleepy Hollow (4.7 mil/1.6) fell 6 percent and two tenths, hitting a pair of series lows.
  • On The CW, The Originals Season 2 Episode 4 (1.3 million/0.6) held steady, while Jane the Virgin (1.1 million/0.4) fell 15 and 20 percent in Week 3. However, it remains a much stronger performer than the numbers in this time slot a year ago.
  • On ABC, Dancing With the Stars (13.2 million/2.1) rose a bit, while Castle Season 7 Episode 5 (9.7 million/1.9) shot up by 27 percent among young adults.
