But Rowan Pope ended up with the last laugh. The last laugh for now, that is.

In the following (awesome!) teaser for Scandal Season 4 Episode 9 (titled “Where the Sun Don’t Shine”), nary a word is spoken until the very end.

We simply see a number of intriguing scenes and snapshots, with Olivia concluded the promo with five chilling words: I want the kill shot.

Will it finally be curtains for Papa Pope next Thursday night?

According to the official ABC synopsis, “everyone in Olivia's life “ will be in danger on the winter finale; while Cyrus will be “forced to face the consequences of his behavior and Huck and Quinn finally figure out just what Elizabeth North has been planning."

But will they be able to stop it?
