The Goldbergs: Charlie Sheen Reprising Iconic Bueller Role

at .

We jumped onto The Goldbergs bandwagon this year, and if you haven't perhaps your time has come.

One of the things they do really well is pay homage to movies we all loved from the 80s. Up next? Ferris Bueller's Day Off will be celebrated with Charlie Sheen recreating his iconic role as "Boy in the Police Station," according to a recent article in People.

In early 2015, Barry will decide to take a day off of school, Bueller-style. In typical Barry style, things won't end up too well.

Pops and Adam will try to help Barry salvage his day, but it remains disastrous, thanks to a little help from Erica, who rats him out.

Erica will then meet Sheen's character almost 30 years later looking none too worse for the wear.

Sheen has been absent from network television since his infamous firing in 2011 from Two and a Half Men. There has been a lot of speculation about whether he would return for the series finale, but everybody is mum on the issue.

It looks like The Goldbergs beat them to the punch!
