The CW is about to enter the world of the undead.

iZombie kicks off its wildly-anticipated run tonight, as Veronica Mars creator Rob Thomas returns to the small screen with a unique twist on this ever-popular genre.

Rose McIver stars as Liv, a young woman who gets turned into a zombie at a party, derailing her perfect life and leading her to a job at the coroner's office where she cam munch on brains in peace and incognito.

We chatted with McIver about this fun role while visiting the show's Vancouver set:
