Bran Stark is coming back to Game of Thrones!
OK, that may not be that big of a surprise given he was sidelined for Game of Thrones Season 5, but the face of his mystical mentor, the Three-Eyed Raven, will look a little different than it did in the Game of Thrones Season 4 finale.
He'll now be played by the legendary Max von Sydow!
If you recall, Bran has developed Warg powers and the Three-Eyed Raven was going to tutor him on how to more easily inhabit the bodies of animals. We don't know how far along Bran will have progressed in his training by the next time we catch up with him, but let's assume with von Sydow at the controls, the Three-Eyed Raven has done a great job.
This news comes just after other crucial casting news for Game of Thrones Season 6, that Ian McShane will join the ensemble as a mysterious new player.
