Grey's Anatomy Spoilers: What Happens to Meredith?

Meredith will not get shot on Grey's Anatomy Season 12.
Many fans of this ABC drama jumped to that conclusion after watching the character fall to the group in THIS HEART-POUNDING PROMO.
But Entertainment Weekly has the inside scoop and has now confirmed what actually happens to Meredith on the upcoming midseason premiere.
“Meredith gets attacked by someone you would least expect and it is just as terrifying, shocking and harrowing as it appears,” Kelly McCreary tells the magazine.
Co-star Sarah Drew also chimed in with the following scary preview:
“She’s attacked really brutally, really viciously and in a completely surprising, weird way."
The episode, which will be directed by Denzel Washington (!!!!!), will center entirely around Meredith.
Nearly every othe character will be on the sideline during the February 11 return installment.
Look for Amelia to take the incident “really hard,” according to Caterina Scorsone... and look for all of this to go down on Thursday, February 11 at 8/7c on ABC.
Which causes us to ask: Is it Thursday, February 11 at 8/7c on ABC yet?!?
