Anarchy in the monarchy will not be ending any time soon on E!.
The cable network announced today that it has picked up The Royals for a third season.
"We are incredibly proud of the success of The Royals," Jeff Olde, Executive Vice President of Original Programming & Development, said in a statement.
"The series has captured fans and brought them into a regal world of sexy, fun drama. We can't wait to see what season three will bring and what surprises are still in store as we enter the second half of season two."
The Royals was created by Mark Schwahn and it chronicles the dramatic lives of England's royal family following the king's murder.
It is E!’s first-ever scripted series.
The strong cast is led by Elizabeth Hurley as Queen Helena.
William Moseley portrays vengeful Prince Liam, while Alexandra Park is on board as Princess Eleanor; Tom Austen as the Prince's bodyguard Jasper Frost; Oliver Milburn as the head of the royal security; and Jake Maskall as the newly-crowned and totally despised King Cyrus.
