The Son Sneak Peek: Second Empire

at .

I don't know about you guys, but I didn't think Pete had it in him to kill Cesar on The Son Season 1 Episode 2.

He wasn't too thrilled with Eli's aggressive tactics, but in the end, he realized his dad was right all along. It sure would have saved a lot of time had he just gotten to the nitty gritty instead of trying to be civil.

It's not a nice thing to think about but these were different times. Trying to do the right thing did nothing but backfire on Pete.

Eli, The Oil Baron - The Son Season 1 Episode 3

The greatest mystery so far is what will Jeannie do with the information she has about Pete taking Cesar away?

She had to have known he was going to release Pedro's son-in-law otherwise why was her dad taking him away in the car?

Will Jeannie tell Eli?

How will Eli react?

Toshaway - The Son Season 1 Episode 3

The bigger question is has Pete done this before?

It has to be difficult for Pete to lie to her considering there are still feelings between the two.

While Pete is struggling with his feelings, Phineas and Eli are in Austin trying to get bankers to invest in their yet undiscovered oil. Will they be successful?

Also on The Son Season 1 Episode 3: Second Empire, we're going to see young Eli train to be a warrior which is a far cry from Prairie Flower beating him with a stick earlier.

The only problem is the reaction of the other Indians. Will they like what Toshaway is doing?
