Jennifer found out about Abigail’s plans to marry Dario, Jade posted the video of Claire and Theo, while Paul suffered from Jungle Madness on the island this week on Days of Our Lives. 

Our TV Fanatics Jack Ori and Christine Orlando are joined by Bruce from MyHourglass a Days of Our Lives fan forum to debate who’d they’d choose to be stranded with, which couple should break up now and the plot line they wish they could ditch!

With which Days character would you choose to be stranded on a desert island?

Bruce: I would have to say Kate Roberts. That woman is resourceful and can get out of any situation!

Jack: JJ. He is resourceful, intelligent, good in a crisis and can play music to help me stay calm.

Christine: Oh Bruce. I think you’re right about Kate. She would do anything necessary to survive and get rescued. 

Can I bring the original Philip back? I wouldn’t mind being stranded on the island with him, plus his military survival training would come in handy, so win-win.

Do you think Jade really deleted that video and if not, will she suffer any consequences for making that recording?

Bruce: This is Days of Our lives, of course she has a back-up copy of the video. Unfortunately, I think that Theo and Claire will feel all the repercussions from the video.

Jack: I doubt the video is really gone. Claire should have deleted it herself and gone to the cops. Jade probably won't suffer any more consequences than Jill did when she drugged JJ and nothing ever happened to her.

Christine: Oh, you know that recording is coming back to haunt Theo and Claire. I’d love to see Jade suffer some consequences for what she’s done, but I doubt that will happen. 

If you could write for the show, which plot line would you immediately ditch?

Bruce: The amulet. Supernatural storylines had a place on Passions, but don't work well with Days of Our Lives’ demographic.

Jack: This awful island story has got to go! So does Dario and Abby's sham marriage.

Christine: Make Chloe give Holly back to Nicole already. I’m so sick of this horrible story! I’d suffer through an entire summer of this island story if they would only have Chloe come to her senses and give Nicole her happy ending. 

Which couple would you break apart if you could?

Bruce: Jennifer and Eric. I am still a firm believer in Nicole and Eric being soulmates.

Jack: JJ and Lani. JJ constantly being pressured to have sex he doesn't want to have by the woman who raped him and worries that he isn't really into her is not at all romantic or entertaining.

Christine: Nicole and Brady. I love the whole happy family vibe, but they threw these two together with no build up and I think they make better friends than lovers.

I’ve also always thought that Eric and Nicole should be end game, but it looks like that may never happen. 

Which character do you find the most irritating right now?

Bruce: Dario; He paid to have Gabi attacked in order to frame his father and now is tricking Abigail into a sham marriage.

Jack: Gabi. She's been whining, freaking out and acting immature and helpless every day since this island story began. Get her off my screen please.

Christine: Abigail. I’ve liked her and I’ve loved to hate her but I’ve never found her nearly as selfish, dumb, and boring as I do right now. 

What was your favorite quote, scene, or story from this week on Days of Our Lives?

Bruce: I enjoyed the scenes with Adrienne and Justin this week. Judi Evans hit the scenes out of the park relaying the anguish of a mother.

Jack: Jennifer calling out Abby on her nonsense. I also quite enjoyed Kate and Andre's banter.

Christine: Definitely Jennifer trying to talk sense into her daughter, not that it helped. 

I also enjoyed Chad and Gabi talking about their kids and Gabi and Sonny reminiscing about Ariana’s birth and how far they’ve come. Both conversations made me smile.
