Kat Dennings is returning to television!

According to Deadline, the 2 Broke Girls alum has joined the cast of Justin Noble's untitled ABC comedy pilot

Kat Dennings Attends Event

The series is based on the blog, How May We Hate You? It follows the workers of a resort, and two of the staff members who have to work with guests for long days.

Dennings has been cast as Ellie, one of the two guest-services specialists. Given that the character is working in the hotel business, she needs to make sure all of the high-class guests are happy.

That means she will need to smile from ear-to-ear every single time she addresses the guests who are more wealthy than she could ever imagine.

Luckily for Ellie, she works alongside her best friend, Gabe at the hotel.

In addition to starring in the series, Dennings will also receive a producer credit.

Kat most recently starred in CBS' 2 Broke Girls for six seasons in which she played the role of Max Blake.

The once-hot series came to a shocking close last year when CBS pulled the plug on it. Sagging ratings were part of the reason the ax swung.

In its final season, it averaged 5.6 million viewers and a 1.3 rating among adults 18-49. Those figures represented declines of almost 20 percent year-to-year.
