Have you been wondering whether Rue has been dead all along on HBO's Euphoria?

The controversial drama has amassed a big following despite only premiering in June, and some fans have wondered whether the show's leading character, Rue (Zendaya) has been dead all along.

Euphoria Season 1 Episode 8 -- the season finale -- raised a lot of questions for its final scene which added fuel to the fire that Rue died after her relapse, or even long before.

The scene in question revealed that Rue was back on drugs after deciding against leaving town on a train with her love interest, Jules.

Rue made her way through her house in some of the most bizarre scenes to date, but her mother and sister could not see her.

The episode closed with a large crowd of dancers wearing robes that were the same color as the jacket Rue had been wearing all season long.

This also came in the aftermath of the revelation that Rue wears the jacket because it's her father's.
