Stranger Things Renewed for Season 4 at Netflix!

There is still relatively little way to know just how many people watch any given show on Netflix.
But while those numbers aren't as transparent as we might like them to be, when a show oozes into popular culture the way Stranger Things does, we can guess it's right up there with viewership.
So it's no surprise that Netflix announced Stranger Things Season 4 is coming our way.
In addition to the fourth-season pickup, brother Matt and Ross Duffer inked a multi-year film and television deal that could be worth nine figures.
That certainly shows some faith in the Duffer Brothers and Stranger Things!

If you're wondering how the figures work, Netflix releases what they want you to know.
In July, they announced that over 40 million household accounts had watched at least a portion of Stranger Things Season 3 since it's release.
They also shared that 18.2 million households had finished Season 3 in its entirety.

Neilsen had previously shared that more than 15 million people watched the Stranger Things Season 2 premiere within three days of airing with 11 million of those in the key demo.
Similarly, Parrot Analytics named Stranger Things Season 2 the most popular show in the country.

Numbers are one thing, and awards are another.
Stranger Things has netted 18 Emmy nominations and won five awards.
Of course, we have no idea if Stranger Things Season 4 will be the last of the series, and Netflix's three to four seasons and done structure is always a concern.
But with a show that is as embedded in modern culture as Stranger Things, it wouldn't be the strangest thing at all for it to continue past the fourth season.
