TV Ratings: The Moodys Has Decent Debut for FOX

FOX is spreading the holiday cheer with The Moodys. 

The network launched the limited series Tuesday night, and two episodes averaged 2.9 million total viewers and a 0.7 rating.

This is an improvement from Almost Family which has been averaging 1.9 million viewers and a 0.5 rating.

The Moodys Find Their Perfect Tree

The Masked Singer continued with 6.5 million viewers and a 1.8 rating in the demo, slipping a little from its last original. 

However, the series managed to lead the night in the demo. 

Riverdale Season 4 Episode 8 had 700,000 viewers and a 0.2 rating. The show is not rating as well as it once was, but people tend to watch CW shows on demand.

Nancy Drew Season 1 Episode 8 had 690,000 viewers and a 0.2 rating in the demo. It fits like a glove out of Riverdale. 

Tonally, both shows are similar, but the lattr has not exactly went down well with Nancy Drew fans.

Facing the Truth - Nancy Drew Season 1 Episode 8

Over on ABC, The Goldbergs (4.1 million/0.8 rating) and Schooled (3.1 million/0.6 rating) were both down. 

Schooled recently got a back order for 9 additional episodes, but there are some creative changes on the way. 

Modern Family (3.8 million/0.9 rating), Single Parents (2.6 million/0.6 rating), and Stumptown (2.9 million/0.5 rating) were steady. 

Bad Blood - Stumptown Season 1 Episode 8

Stumptown is proving to be a resilient series. While the on-air numbers are soft, the show is killing it when it comes to DVR and on-demand, metrics ABC has vowed to take into consideration more this year than others. 

The Rock Center tree lighting garnered 6.9 million viewers and a 1.1 rating. A lot of people tuned in to watch a Christmas tree!

The Stand Off - Stumptown Season 1 Episode 8

Making It was steady with 2.8 million viewers and a 0.5 rating.
