Sami just can't help herself.
She's been told over and over that if she doesn't give Allie the space to make her own decisions about her baby, she'll lose her forever.
And on Days of Our Lives during the week of 7-27-20, she might learn that the hard way.
According to the official Days of Our Lives spoiler video, Sami is worried about her plan falling apart while Will and Sonny toast to their newfound status as adoptive parents.
Will warns her that if Allie finds out what she did, she'll hate Sami forever, while Sami worries about the truth coming out.
Sami has been going around lately saying she can change, but this latest scheme shows she hasn't learned her lesson one bit.
She must know on some level that her attempts to manipulate Rafe out of adopting the baby were wrong — or at least that her behavior would alienate Allie — or she wouldn't have asked Will to keep it to himself.
There would be no secret to keep and no stress if she'd just stayed out of it, but that's not who Sami is.
It was a bad plan anyway. Nothing stopped Rafe, who was extremely annoyed with Sami, from telling Allie what Sami had been up to and then agreeing to adopt the baby anyway.
Sadly, his decision not to adopt was the right move. It really is too soon after he lost custody of David to consider adopting another child.
But now the shadow of Sami's words will always hang over that decision and he might end up changing his mind, leading to more heartbreak for everyone.
And as the spoiler video shows, Allie is going to go into labor. The adoption discussion will be a whole lot less abstract now that there's a living, breathing baby involved!

Steve and Kayla return to Salem
Steve and Kayla's impromptu trip comes to an end and the pair returns to Salem.
The iconic couple is sure to be closer than ever — but what will test their newly renewed bond?
There are plenty of options for drama.
Kayla hasn't spoken to Justin since the wedding debacle and John may want to enlist Steve's help with investigating who set the bomb at Ciara's wedding.
Bonnie surprises Lucas in bed.
Ugh. Could Bonnie just go away?
Lucas has enough on his plate playing referee between Allie and Sami while trying to encourage Allie to do what he thinks is best for the baby.
And if he's going to reunite with anyone, it should be Sami, who has been his on-and-off partner for over 30 years and the mother of both of his children.
The sooner Bonnie realizes she has no chance with Lucas and slinks away into the night, the better.
Will and Sonny move forward with their adoption plans
Now that Rafe has declined to adopt the baby, WilSon is moving full steam ahead with their plans to adopt Allie's baby.
But Will knows what Sami did to make that happen, and that is sure to drive a wedge between the couple.
And when the secret comes out, Allie may decide not to let them adopt the baby after all.
Either way, their happiness is sure to be short-lived.
Nicole exposes Sami's machinations to Allie
Of course she does.
Nicole has become Allie's surrogate mother, which means she and Sami are always locked into a battle over who gets to fill that role in Allie's life.
Allie's going to be beyond angry at Sami, and Sami will probably blame Nicole when she has only herself to blame.
Ciara shares a new theory with Rafe about Ben
Since Ciara's decided that Claire is guilty, it's no surprise what her next move is.
She already told Hope she wants Rafe to arrest Claire and "make her confess."
It's a good thing Claire has Belle by her side, at least as far as lawyering goes, since Salem loves to declare people guilty until proven innocent instead of the other way around.
Ben's past comes back to haunt him
Whoever kidnapped Ben from his wedding has to do with his serial killer past.
It's looking more and more likely that it's Eve or Eduardo, since they're both slated to return and would want revenge for Paige's death.
Too bad JJ isn't on Days of Our Lives anymore, as he would add a lot to this kind of drama.
Hopefully, the writers won't have resurrected Paige and turned her into an evil kidnapper hellbent on revenge, since that is the opposite of her original personality.
Allie goes into labor
It seems too early for Allie to have her baby.
Spoilers say that she goes into labor while confronting Sami about Sami's manipulative behavior.
Could this be premature labor brought on by the stress?
If anything goes wrong with the delivery, Allie is sure to blame Sami forever.
Ciara and Claire come to a stunning revelation
It looks like Claire is going to prove her innocence after all.
Spoilers have Ciara and Claire working together, so once that's out of the way they must decide to find the real bomb setter.
The revelation is most likely that Ben is alive and being held captive somewhere.
Gwen and Jake move into the Dimera mansion
This is disappointing.
While Jake deserves his share of the Dimera fortune, he doesn't need to listen to Gwen about adopting the lifestyle of the rich and famous.
Plus, this is just going to intensify the rivalry between Gabi and Gwen, and who needs that?
To Sami's dismay, Nicole helps Allie deliver her baby
After finding out about Sami's manipulations, Allie doesn't want her in the delivery room with her.
Why would she? Sami has been overcontrolling this whole time, and Allie will likely blame her for her going into labor in the first place.
Sami, however, will definitely be angry that Nicole took her place. Let's hope it doesn't get physical again.
