Archie Panjabi won an Emmy for playing Kalinda on The Good Wife as an intensely mysterious private investigator.
But a bit of that mystery will be revealed on a November episode of the CBS drama, as Lili Taylor guest stars as a woman from Kalinda’s past.
“Kalinda worries her past will be used against her by a competing investigator and has to convince [Taylor] to not expose confidential information,” previewed producer Robert King to Entertainment Weekly, who first published this photo of Taylor in her role of a public defender:
