Chuck has booked former Matrix star Carrie-Anne Moss in a recurring season five role. The actress will come on board as Gertrude Verbanski, a former spy who now is in charge of Verbanski Corp., the main rival of Chuck and Sarah’s burgeoning new company.
Will she be ruthless? Yes. Will she fall for Casey, her former rival? Oh yes.
Said Adam Baldwin at Comic-Con of the impending character: “Casey has either met his match, or his love match.”
Chuck kicks off its final season on October 21.
