YES! Just not this season, most likely.
“I can’t see a wedding happening this season,” he told TV Line. “At some point I think that there has to be [a wedding]. But there are going to be so many problems they’ll have to deal with before that.”
For example, “how their work is affected by this baby – and it’s going to be affected a lot.”
This season has been a mess from the start, from a scheduling standpoint, so that makes sense. Only five episodes have aired so far, with a brand new one tomorrow night, followed by another long hiatus.
By the time Bones returns in earnest this spring, we still have the lead-up to the baby’s birth and all that encompasses. Perhaps Season 8, which is almost certainly in the cards, will feature their nuptials?
