Carter Bays has given fans their first look at How I Met Your Mother Season 9.
Well… their first look at the cover page for the How I Met Your Mother Season 9 premiere script, at least.
But the co-creator has revealed via Twitter that the September 23 opener – which will mark the beginning of the end for this beloved sitcom – will be titled “The Locket,” as you can see here:
What else can we reveal about Season 9?
- It will all take place during Barney and Robin’s wedding weekend.
- Cristin Milioti will be a series regular as The Mother.
- Wayne Brady will reprise his role as James Stinson.
