Sandra Bernhard and Stephen Root are headed to Fox.
According to TV Line sources, the comedic actress will guest star on the November 9 installment of Brooklyn Nine-Nine as the quirky mother of Chelsea Peretti’s administrator, Gina.
Root, meanwhile, will stop by the same Brooklyn Nine-Nine Season 2 episode as as the New York-born Italian father of Joe Lo Truglio’s food-loving detective, Boyle.
Both characters may appear in more than one episode. The question we have is this: Might they be dating?!?
Brooklyn Nine-Nine made a move for Season 2 and now airs Sundays at 8:30/7:30c.
