The Mysteries of Laura is set to stage a Will & Grace reunion.
Between Will and Grace themselves!
NBC has confirmed that Eric McCormack and Debra Messing will reunite on an upcoming episode of The Mysteries of Laura Season 1, with the actor coming on board as Dr. Andrew Devlin.
The character is described as “a roguish, arrogant-as-can-be heart surgeon” – who also happens to be Laura’s ex-fiancé.
Look for Devlin to become the lead suspect when his wife is murdered and, of course, for Laura to lead the investigation.
Both McCormack and Messing won Emmy Awards for their portrayal of a gay man and his best pal on Will & Grace, which ran for eight seasons on NBC.
McCormack was last seen on Perception, which TNT canceled in November.
