They spent a decade being friends on one of the most popular shows in TV history – but when Lisa Kudrow shows up on Cougar Town next month, she and Courteney Cox won’t be yukking it up.
ABC has released the first photo from the January 6 episode on which Kudrow guest stars. She plays a doctor that, as producer Bill Lawrence tells Entertainment Weekly, pretty much sucks.
“They didn’t want to play friends,” Lawrence said. “[Lisa] plays a dermatologist who is a horrible, horrible person, but [Cox] goes to her because she’s the best. The [sight] of them playing people who dislike each other intensely was very funny for me to watch.”
We have a feeling viewers will feel the same way.
