House of Lies Season 1 Episode 10 Recap: Prologue and Aftermath

Marty and Monica come together for for a mediation over custody of Roscoe this week. While Marty and Monica knock boots instead of heads Jeannie is left to handle the Pod on her first big account solo. The case lands them in Jeannie’s hometown with the goal of resurrecting an ailing church; but the team also relishes the chance to meet their colleague’s mother. Monica pops in to visit April having seduced Marty earlier and drops just enough hints to screw things up between Marty and his new love. We learn that Jeannie’s father was abusive adding to an off closing scene with her and the Rainmaker.
