-Kono goes on the run after being framed for the murder of one of the victims discovered in the warehouse.
-The 5-0 help her dodge the police while working to clear her name, while also working to solve the mystery of five federal agents found dead on a private plane.
-The plane was transporting a Latin American terrorist, Rafael Salgado, whose son lives on the island–and has just gone missing.
-Kono takes refuge with Adam Noshimuri, who she learns is battling his brother Michael for control of the family.
-With some help from Wo-Fat, the 5-0 track down Salgado–but find that Rafael’s son has actually been kidnapped by his former allies, who are planning a major terrorist event in San Francisco and are using the kidnapping to draw Salgado out.
-With the 5-0’s help, Salgado’s son is brought back to safety and the plot against San Francisco is foiled–though Salgado perishes in the process.
-Adam confronts Michael–they struggle, and Michael is accidentally shot and killed.
-Kono’s name is cleared when the crime lab confirms that the gun had Michael Noshimuri’s fingerprints on it.
-Adam must go on the run after Michael’s death. Doris prepares to bring him to Shanghai, and at the last second, Kono decides she will join them and leave Hawaii.
-McGarrett comes close to unearthing the true nature of his mother’s relationship with Wo Fat–but as he visits him in jail, he realizes that Wo Fat has tricked him, and will be using him as a human shield against the enemies who are breaking down his jail cell door…
