After taking some time to think about his decision, Nick admits to Taylor his concerns and adds how the court decided what is best for Jack right now. Nick tries to explain to her that he doesn’t want to hurt her. Rick bursts in and announces to Nick that he is hurting her and if he wants a war over this child, he’s got one. Rick then tears up the papers. Pam rigs Eric’s phone so that she can hear his conversations with Donna. Donna voices to Eric her insecurity in their relationship, thinking that he may have grown tired of her. Hearing all of this, Pam gloats and loves that her plan is working.
