Gordon Ramsay’s Secret Service Exclusive Sneak Peek Will Test Your Stomach — and Your Faith in Philly

Oh. My. God.

This one is beyond the pale — even by Gordon Ramsay’s Secret Service standards.

This show seriously taps into my restaurant-going reserves, which grow by the week.

From his high-tech surveillance van, Gordon watches in horror as a so-called chef uses the same spatula to scrape muck from a grease gutter and then — without hesitation — shovels that sludge-covered tool straight back onto the griddle and into the sandwich. 

A sandwich that’s on its way to two unsuspecting women who are just trying to enjoy a Philly cheesesteak in peace.

“The beef hasn’t even been cooked!” Gordon gasps, eyes wide.

You can feel his soul leave his body for a second. He covers his face, mutters “f**k” like it’s the only word left in the English language, and then — God bless him — makes the sign of the cross.

“Please, sisters,” he prays, “for what you are about to receive will not put you in the bathroom for the next three hours.”

The restraint it must take for a world-class chef to sit there and not leap through the monitor like a professional leaper and stop that slop from going into someone’s mouth? 

Admirable. Incredible, really. Any one of us would’ve tackled that sandwich mid-air like it was a live grenade.

This isn’t just a bad kitchen — this is culinary sabotage, Philly edition.

The restaurant, Bruno’s, has been a beloved staple in the community for over 30 years. 

But as the FOX episode reveals, loyalty can’t cover up what Gordon calls a “complete failure to meet updated kitchen practices.” 

And based on the unsanitary conditions caught on tape — those decades of trust are literally going down the drain.

With an owner stuck in his ways and a son ready to blow the whistle, Gordon’s mission in this week’s episode is equal parts rescue and intervention.
