Zoe Saldana is headed to the small screen.
The Avatar actress has been cast in the lead of NBC's upcoming Rosemary's Baby remake. She will portray the Rosemary herself, a character made famous by Mia Farrow in Roman Polanski’s scary 1968 film.
On the NBC miniseries – which will be penned by James Wong and Scott Abbott – Saldana's Rosemary will reside in Paris. There, the wife and soon-to-be mother will become overcome with worry that her husband and neighbors have evil plans for her baby.
NBC is yet to announced a premiere date for the project. Filming will get underway shortly.
