NCIS: Origins
NCIS: Origins is a prequel series that takes viewers back to 1991, long before Gibbs became the seasoned leader we know from NCIS.
The show explores his early career in the NCIS office at Camp Pendleton, where he learns the ropes under the mentorship of Mike Franks.
It’s about the cases that shaped him, the personal losses that fueled his rules and steeliness, and the beginnings of the relationships and instincts that defined his future.
At its heart, it’s both a character study of a younger Gibbs and a chance to see the Navy crime world through a rawer, more personal lens.
