Andy Bernard (Ed Helms) used to be the Regional Director in Charge of Sales at the Stamford office of Dunder Mifflin, but transferred to the Scranton branch after the company downsized the former.
Andy is overconfident, has anger management problems, and can be extremely annoying. He frequently name drops his alma mater, Cornell, and likes to sing at every conceivable opportunity. He has a good heart, though, and is sort of engaged to Angela.
