Cirilla Fiona Elen Riannon, known as Ciri, is princess of Cintra and also known as the lion cub of Cintra. Her parents are Pavetta and Duny (secretly Emhyr of Nilfgaard) and her grandmother is Queen Calanthe.

She is also Geralt's destiny and adopted daughter.

Ciri is a descendant of Lara Dorren and has the Elder blood which gives her access to powers that allow her to cross space and time.

At Kaer Marhen, Geralt and the witchers train Ciri to fight like a witcher. Later, Yennefer of Vengerberg attempts to teach her to control her magical abilities.

As the last remaining member of the Cintra royal family, Ciri is sought by political forces looking to marry her to their heads of state to claim Cintra as a vassal territory. Magical forces, including the Wild Hunt itself, seek to capture her for her powers.
