Crystal Tyler begins as a wrestling fan and is soon acting as Ace Spade's valet. The two had a romantic entanglement, and when Ace's head got too big, they parted ways. Crystal had visions of getting into the ring, and she enlisted Bobby Pin to show her the ropes (and he was all too eager to do so).

Her hard work paid off, and at the end of Heels Season 1, Crystal "stole" the DWL belt from the hands of Jack, Ace, and Wild Bill while acting as Bill's valet at the Georgia State Fair. That has made her a local hero for young girls in the area.

She and Bobby have grown very close as a result of working together.
