Dan Brady is Jack and Preacher's Marine buddy who served with them and used to work at Jack's Bar but quit when he wasn't making enough money. He now works at a lumber company but gets embroiled in drug trafficking.

He has trouble adapting to civilian life and often butts head with Jack and Preacher and has a penchant for landing himself in criminal trouble that he can't climb out of or work through despite his valiant efforts to turn over a new life.

He dates Jack's sister, Brie.
