Kim Burgess went from Patrol, where she was partnered with Kevin Atwater and Sean Roman, until she was recruited into the Intelligence Unit.
She tends to wear her heart on her sleeve and can get attached on cases. She's also prone to ending up in danger and is no stranger to more traumatic storylines.
Burgess adopted a daughter from a case the team worked on, who she co-raises with her on and off again boyfriend and possible endgame, Adam Ruzek, where they live together in his old childhood home.
