Lisa is an illustrator who also waits tables. She and her young daughter, Poppy, live with her loving if boring boyfriend, Veggie.

But Lisa suffers from insomnia and spends her nights talking to fellow insomniac and friend Danny, which complicates her life.

Lisa is played by actress Antonia Thomas.
