Lori is Rick's wife, and when Rick was in a coma, she thought he was dead. During the zombie apocalypse Shane protects Lori and her son, Carl, by taking them to Atlanta. There, Lori and Shane end up having a romantic relationship.....until Lori finds out Shane lied to her about Rick being dead.
