As dramatic as it would have been to see Deacon hold a grudge against his niece for weeks and weeks, we're glad that these two appear to be sorting things out and reconciling sooner rather than later. Grief is not something you should go through alone, and these two song writers definitely need each other.

Scarlett and Deacon really need to sit down and have a talk about the why's and how's of Beverly's death, and it looks like they're finally going to get to do that in "Stop the World and Let Me Off." Deacon needs all the support he can get at this point, and so does Scarlett.

Scarlett, too, sorts through her memories of Beverly as she sorts through her house. We imagine that Scarlett's childhood home holds quite a few bad memories of Beverly along with the good ones, as she struggled with her mental health. Stay strong, Scarlett!

Well, she's not back in the way you think. While he goes through her things, it seems like Deacon might be remembering his big sister more and more. Hopefully he can remember the parts of her that wouldn't have wanted to live on a ventilator for the rest of her life, so he can finally forgive Scarlett.

It's got to be hard, sorting through all the belongings of a dead loved one, especially when one of you blames the other so much for the death of that loved one. This trip might be just what Scarlett and Deacon need to sort things out though, no matter how tense the journey.

We knew there was more to this little little concert story. Colt has never been the greatest influence on Maddie, and now that they're dating he's not getting much better. Still, it's nice to see him so happy for his girlfriend, while she performs on stage. He's not all bad!

If there is anyone absolutely not falling from grace, it's Luke Wheeler. We still don't like that he dropped Will from his label for being gay, but Luke is using his new image consultant for all she is worth. He's a star on the rise, and he's taking serious advantage of that fact.

As much as we love to see Juliette's career taking off, the sense of doom surrounding the whole thing kind of makes us wish she would just crash and burn already. The anticipation of watching her fall from grace is almost worse than the knowledge that it's totally coming.
