Rebecca seems to be getting a little emotional during the adoption proceeding. As for Randall, he just wants to get it over with and take a nap. (And so does Kate!) These kids do not know how lucky they are!
Jack can make anything look good, even a corded telephone. He's frustratingly handsome! Who is he talking to? Did he receive good news about the adoption?
There is nothing better than knowing your parents love you. And regardless of race, Rebecca and Jack loved Randall and were willing to fight to make him part of their family.
Rebecca and Jack seem to run into some trouble during the adoption process when the judge admits that he doesn't think Randall belongs in their home. Apparently, in Reagan's America, mixed families like the Pearson's are frowned upon.
Everything about this picture is perfect -- the hand holding, Jack's smile, the way Rebecca looks at him. Being parents is a good look on them. And how could anyone give them anything less than a glowing review?
Adoption is a very personal and emotional matter, but we cannot forget it is also a legal process. Unfortunately, it isn't enough to just want a child, you have to prove that you're fit enough to raise him/her and that your home is adequate enough. We'll finally get to see Rebecca and Jack go through Randall's adoption process!
This face... it's the same face that Randall made when he found out his mother lied to him about knowing his father. Who is on the receiving end of this glowering look? From the episode promo we know he's dealing with the foster system so is he visiting Deja's mom in prison and giving her a piece of his mind?
The parents-to-be clearly cannot contain their excitement or keep their hands off each other. The episode synopsis teases that Kate and Toby take the next step in their relationship. Will they walk down the aisle before their bundle of joy arrives? Or will they have a shotgun wedding?
